Meet Jessica Day
A Knightdale, NC, native, Jessica holds a B.S. in Business Administration from UNC Greensboro and her MBA from NC State University. With a background in supply chain management, real estate, and financial education, she brings a diverse business acumen to her work.
Jessica made history as Knightdale’s first African American female Town Council member (2017), Mayor Pro Tem (2019), and Mayor (2021). She has led community engagement initiatives, police reform discussions, and economic development efforts.
With extensive experience in organizational development, Jessica has led change management initiatives, facilitated strategic conversations, and developed performance management metrics to improve organizational effectiveness. In 2022, she founded Willow Oak Consulting LLC to provide strategic, data-driven solutions in organizational development, leadership coaching, and change management. Through her work, she continues to empower leaders, strengthen teams, and create lasting impact.
A Rotary Club member and dedicated community leader, Jessica is passionate about helping organizations and individuals achieve transformational growth through coaching, consulting, and strategic interventions. She believes true success comes from service, adaptability, and purpose-driven leadership.
